Portia Jiabao Li
Born in Shijiazhuang, China, Portia Jiabao Li graduated from Goldsmiths MFA Fine Art in 2019. “I have been working both as a novice mom and an artist. My works are inspired by artifacts, religious myths, and intimate relationships, constantly responding to the dual enmity and interdependence of human and machine, the collision of nature and technology, and the porous boundary between reality and myth.”
